NIAV GARAVAN miscpNiav graduated from Queen's College, Glasgow in 1989 with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy. She worked in King's College Hospital, London for two years before moving into Private Practice, gaining experience in Canada and Australia for a further three years.
Niav returned to Dublin in 1995 and was involved with Inter-county Gaelic players, Olympic athletes and Leinster Rugby for assessment and treatment. Niav established Terenure and Tallaght Physiotherapy (formerly Aylesbury and Greenlea) in 1998 and trained as a Stott Pilates Instructor in January 2003. She was the Physiotherapy medical advisor to RTE's 'The Clinic' programme for seasons two and three. She has a keen interest in neck and back injuries and works closely with specialists in Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery amongst others. |

karen crosse, miscpKaren qualified as a physiotherapist in 1999 from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
She worked extensively in the NHS in the UK and specialised early on in her career in the realm of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Whilst In the Uk she worked within outpatient departments, orthopaedic wards and a pain management centre, amongst others. She had the specialist role of working as part of a lower limb service within an outpatients setting and was responsible for the management of all knee injuries referred to the department. Karen continues to have a passion for treating and rehabilitating knee and lower limb injuries. Karen has also worked as a physiotherapist for the Metropolitan police service in London , treating police officers and staff members. Karen moved to Dublin In 2006 and has worked in private practices since that time. Most recently, Karen has been the occupational health physiotherapist on the St James’ gate site in Dublin providing Physiotherapy services to the Diageo and Guinness workers. Karen integrates dry needling into her practice and is registered with the Irish Society of chartered physiotherapists. Her aim is to return you to pain free health as soon as possible. |
